India secured a decisive 86-run victory over Bangladesh in the second T20I at Delhi, thereby taking an unassailable lead in the series. After a sluggish start, a superb partnership between Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh powered India to an imposing total of 221 for 9. Bangladesh’s chase was derailed by India’s sharp spin attack, which tightened the noose early on, and ultimately proved too strong for the visitors.

Reddy and Rinku Lead India’s Charge

India’s top-order had a rocky start. Losing three wickets in the powerplay, including those of Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav, the hosts found themselves struggling at 41 for 3.
